Here’s what I learned-

When your buddy doesn’t show up by the appointed departure time, give him a call to make sure he’s not 2 minutes away.
Make sure the place you tell your friend to meet you at is actually on the route that the group intends to ride.
Hitting a broken road turtle at 27mph is undesirable, especially when it causes a sidewall blowout.
Having the whole team offer to wait so you can get your bike fixed is cool.
Sometimes the guy who owns the local bike shop doesn’t open the store on time.
Getting back on the bike after an hour break hurts a lot.
