Rode a nice 47 mile loop today with Dave S. of the Descenders. We set a healthy pace and dealt with an ever present headwind, even though we were riding a loop. Legs hurt a bit – should have spun them out on the trainer yesterday after Saturday’s big ride.
But the big excitement for me was getting my Descender’s jersey. It’s official, I’m a Descender 
The Descenders are a group of guys who love to bike and more importantly, climb. They tackle the best climbs in Southern California.
It’s all downhill from here!

I really like the name – The Descenders.
I don’t think there is any better feeling than flying down a mountain at speed. Particularly when you have earned it.
