Thanks everyone for your interest, support and kind words. We're still in great need of more single cyclists for the 3-day ride.

The downturn in the economy is hampering our sponsorships and apparently, recruitment.

Please consider joining us - either for all 3 days or for half a day from Carlsbad to San Diego on Aug 3rd.

It is a great event - and you would enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and joy of cycling with the blind and vision-impaired to support their programs at Braille Institute.

All the Best,
David

I don't know if you are aware but a lot of places have cycling programs for the visually impaired/blind that involves riding on tandems.

It's a super smart idea that lets them actively participate while allowing someone else to steer :)

Whatever you choose... they all sound like good options. What a great ride and oppportunity for the seeing impaired. Just to give someone the experience of a ride like that will be so rewarding.
