Today we rode Horseshoe Meadow and Mt. Whitney portal for a total of 11,000 feet of elevation over 64 miles. There are a bunch of cool pics on my cellphone that will be posted once my phone can send them (not a lot of signal out here), so stay tuned for them.
I’m going to write about these rides in more detail later, but I wanted to post the elevation profile with my heart rate overlayed on it. The first hill is Horseshoe Meadow, the second is to Mt. Whitney portal. I wanted to do something special on the way to Whitney portal today and managed to be the first Descender to arrive at the portal. I can’t say how proud I am of this, it was truly special.
