My favorite shop is Hi-Tech Bikes on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. I am pretty new to cycling and everywhere I went I felt I knew more than the employees, I was trying to be sold a $10,000 bike or the shop was too snobby because I pronounced a brand name wrong. The Hi-Tech team was super friendly, extremely helpful and well informed and offered me a fabulous deal on a bike I would have never heard of if it were not for them. Now I have a life time warranty and service for the rest of my life. The team fitted me perfectly and evened followed up over the phone to assure I was happy with the results. I am about ready for a tune-up and so excited to go back in... they are even helping me change out my crank with my boyfriends since mine is a little large- all at no charge.
